Easily prep up to five frames at a time for extraction using this Lyson Manual Steam Uncapper.
How it Works:
Up to five frames are loaded into the frame feeder which is able to be adjusted to fit various frame sizes. With the steamer plugged, powered and heated (it takes 20 minutes to heat up), the crank handle is rotated to drop the first frame into the uncapping unit where a pair of heated oscillating knives quickly and cleanly slice cappings off both sides of the frame. Continuing to crank, the frame is pushed onto the uncapping table which stores the frames and catches dripping honey until they are loaded into an extractor. The next frame is brought down and ran through the knives. This process is continued until all frames are done, or once you reach an hour, as you will be required to refill the steam generator.
Features:
1500 watt steam generator (available in 120v or 240v)
Tank holds 30 frames
A honey gate and elbow at the bottom of the tank for easy draining of honey
Powder coated steel legs support the uncapper
Stainless steel tank features removable perforated trays to catch cappings and help drain honey away.
Caster wheels allow easy movement of the unit
Unit Assembly:
Unit requires some assembly. The uncapping unit head and tank are in individual boxes and shipped on a pallet. After unpacking the equipment, assemble the tank components and then lift the head (two people is best) onto the tank and secure with four bolts/nuts. Connect the steamer, fill with distilled water and you are ready to start!

Thank you for fixing my messed up order.
Love the suit, fits good!
Bee vac.... Amazing, easy to use so much easier than what I was doing.
Have rescued 2 swarms with it that would have been exterminated.Cyndi B
I use these for yellow jacket nest removal in conjunction with a full 3-layer ventilated bee suit. Sleevelets are a light weight cotton material, so maybe not sting-proof on their own but over the sleeves of my suit, the light material is less hot than my old gauntlets with heavy canvas.
The stiff gauntlet has plenty of room to fit over the elastic cuffs of my suit. This also puts the ventilated section further up my forearm so there's bee suit under it. This is important to me because I have been stung through the vents on my old gloves, which sat below the suit cuff.
The leather feels sturdy and supple and dexterity was good. I typically wear a medium to a large glove and these seem true to size. A medium fits a little snug, but I believe the leather will break in to be perfect and provide good dexterity.
Customer service was responsive and helpful at Christmas time and we were excited to give Dad this gift. After a number of years processing honey very inefficiently using various methods this honey spinner was a game-changer. I wish we had invested in it earlier!
Pierco plastic frame is the best! I've been using them since 2012. They are easy to clean and last for many years and best of all the Bees love them. I have tried others, but the bees don't take to them like they do these. I won't buy any other .
Great experience always.
I have ordered several boxes of new triple wax frame's just this year.
I have many hives and they are all Pierco triple wax frame's
Bees build out wax quickly.
Btw - just like everyone else, I am busy and these frames save time for me from having to apply wax myself.
They are durable, freeze well over the winter, and stand up to chickens (yep) pecking at drone brood. lol
I def recommend
