I bought plastic frames for the first time to try
I bought plastic frames for the first time to try and boy am I amazed. I have several new hives that I checker boarded frames and they have drawn out the plastic ones instead of my wood frames with plastic foundation.
Great product and support
I’ve been using acorn for several years now it’s a great product. They also have an excellent support team. UPS lost my package and acorn insured that I was sent a replacement free of charge. Thank you acorn.
Heavy wax foundations are worth the cost
I installed 30 frames with the heavy wax. My bees were able to draw frames out quickly. I’ll continue ordering these foundations. Overall great product.

Like that the foundation is a bit deeper than
I like that the foundation has deeper/more defined ridges than others I’ve purchased. Looking forward to bees quickly drawing out frames.

I haven't used any of this order yet, but I ordered the same heavy waxed foundation a couple of years ago, and really liked it. The bees took to it really well, and drew out beautiful comb from it.

This is the first time I've tried Acorn foundations, having been told by many Beeks how good they are. Well they were all wrong, they are so much better! The bees went to work and very quickly building them up.
Very satisfied and wont be buying my foundation anywhere else!
Black foundation for deeps
The foundation sheets are sturdy, well formed, and are not warped. I buy the unwaxed foundations and roll my own wax on it, usually about a half pound of wax per 10 sheets. Not sure how that compares to their standard, heavy, or extra heavy wax options, but the bees draw it out quickly as long as there's a flow on or they're being fed. Shipping costs quite a bit, is the only downside.
Highly Recommend Acorn Foundations!
We needed to fill supers in a hurry this summer, so we ordered the Acorn heavy waxed yellow plastic foundations. When we opened the box, we knew that we made the right decision. They smelled heavenly of beeswax, and there was no need to take extra time to re-coat them. Even better, the bees began working the foundations immediately!
Acorn frames and foundation
I ordered frames with heavy wax foundation for the first time. The frames were all in perfect shape-glued and stapled. The heavy wax foundation is always promptly drawn out. I think that acorn foundation and now frames are top quality. They are my first choice.
Lots of wax
I can’t wait to see what my new foundation looks like after putting it in two weeks ago I’m sure it’s going to be covered. I’m so impressed with this foundation.

Great product
Been using for a couple years and bees build fine on them. I get them extra heavy waxed. Plan to order more as needed and I recommend them to new bee keepers all the time.

Absolutely love these foundations. Heavy wax, even coat. Just opening the box has the best smell. You can immediately tell it’s real beeswax. Bees work it well. Will be ordering again.
Excellent product
