Lyson Nuc Feeder

The Lyson nuc feeder is designed to fit into the lid of the Lyson 6-frame nuc.

This nuc feeder provides two areas for feeding (at either end of the hive). Bees climb into the feeder and down the "ladder" to access feed.

Holds about 12 cups of liquid, or roughly 3/4 of a gallon.

Feeder requires some assembly. Press the plastic inserts into each end of the feeder slowly and carefully to avoid cracking the plastic. It is helpful to warm the plastic with a heat gun to make installation easier. It is important that the inserts are pressed down completely so that no bee-sized gaps exist. If any gaps are large enough for bees to fit through, they could enter the larger syrup pool and drown.

Please note: Fits tightly into the lid; may require a hive tool to pry open.
