Bees Love These Wooden Frames!
Great Product! The bees love them! Especially with the extra heavy wax!
Medium frames
My bees fill out the foundation better and faster than the ones that I coat myself. Some frames were broken but with the shippers today not surprised or upset
Great Frames!
It is middle of winter here in eastern Washington so I won’t be able to use the frames for a while, but I can see why these frames are going to live up to their great reputation! Very well built and well waxed. I can’t wait to see how my bees respond to them when I am able to start placing them in my hives. They are not cheap but then again they are not cheaply made either!

When I opened the box, I had my staple gun out figuring that I was going to have to add staples but I was surprised. There were staples everywhere that I would have put them had I assembled them. As I looked them over I realized that the guy who built them did a better job than I could've done, I get a miss here and there and have to go back and cut off the staple and set the stub, there were no misses that I saw in this order. Excellent craftsmanship, well done! My guess is that this fella has built quite a few of these. And I'd like to thank Patricia in customer service for resolving the issue of my order of plastic foundation that disappeared in Visalia, I sincerely appreciate your after the sale effort. The frames came picture perfect, and packaged securely. These frames should last several years when properly maintained. This is now my (go to)place for frames.

The frames were well made. They had glue as well as staples. The foundation was well coated with wax and fit well into the frames.

Your wooden frame and foundation are the BEST. I always get the heavy waxed and have never had a problem. The bees take to them right away.
Bees get right to work!
My bees draw comb faster on Acorn heavy wax foundation than on any of the dozen others I have tried. While it costs me a lot to have it shipped to the East Coast, I still find it to be more than worth it! (PS Durable wooden frames as well! )

The shipping partner had an incident with my package, and I needed a replacement in a time crunch. The Acorn team went above & beyond to assure I received a replacement before I had to depart for overseas!!!
Also, I’ve spent good money on “double waxed” & “triple waxed”frames in the past that barely have a noticeable coating. The Acorn frames are far superior with regards to wax!!! Saving me time and money by being able to take the frames straight from the shipping package, to the hive.

Last year I ran a test in my swarm traps. Along with an old brood comb I places two frames of Acorn double waxed with a leading competitive brand. The other brand produced crazy comb not the Acorn. The bees took to the Acorn and built it out considerably faster and more evenly.

Overall good. Bees definitely draw out the heavy wax quickly. My only complaint is a couple frames were broken but I can only assume it was shipping.
