  • Sting Protection that Breathes: Our patent-pending ventilated back using custom-molded mesh combined with a top grain cowhide palm, creates beekeeping gloves that are flexible, lightweight, VERY breathable, and stretchy, yet have superior sting protection so a bee’s stinger is less likely to reach the skin, even when gripping items or bending the hand. With these Heavy Duty gloves, the protection continues up the forearm in a breathable gauntlet.
  • Find Your Perfect Fit: To ensure the best fit possible, you MUST use the Size Chart and measure your hand. If your measurements are between sizes, go with the larger size. This bee keepers glove is made with a hook and loop strap that fastens securely around your arm. It is available in 6 sizes: extra-small, small, medium, large, XL, and XXL.
  • Maximum Durability: Our Heavy Duty gloves are named that for a reason. These bee gloves for men and women are designed for hard work, heavy abuse, and the rigors of commercial beekeeping. Our small beekeeping gloves use superior materials like top grain cowhide leather that withstands whatever you can throw at it.
  • Breathable & Comfortable: Our unique mesh allows for the highest degree of ventilation so that beekeepers' hands stay cool and comfortable during long hours of work. Our bee-keeping gear is always made to perform, and the unique construction combined with the soft, yet durable top grain cowhide leather is no exception. It isn't overly bulky or cumbersome and feels great on your hands.

The need for sleeves arises from the historical lack of most beekeeping suits/jackets on the market.  Bees primarily attack the hands, forearms, and faces of beekeepers disturbing their hives.  Our beekeeping gloves are designed to be worn with quality beekeeping suits/jackets that resist bee stings.  They work especially well with the beekeeping suits/jackets that we at Apis Tactical are developing.  Sleeves just add another layer on the arms which makes for more heat and more discomfort.

Our gloves are designed to be worn UNDER your beekeeping suit/jacket sleeve cuffs.  Most suits have an elastic or velcro closure designed to tighten around the wrist.  There is a space above our glove's velcro closure strap where your beekeeping suit/jacket closure should tighten down.  The glove's strap should prevent your suit cuff from slipping off.  If your suit is not able to tighten sufficiently, you may need to add a strap or rubber band to help it stay connected to the glove.  Many beekeeping suits/jackets also have a thumb strap.  That strap goes over our gloves and should keep your suit/jacket cuff in place.

Our Apis Tactical Beekeeping gloves have a new type of mesh system that allows far more airflow to keep your hands cooler than any other glove.  More importantly, this mesh system maintains around 5mm of space between the bees and your skin.  Bees cannot sting farther than 3mm or so. Most other meshes are only 3 to 4mm and they compress easily to less than 2mm.  Remember that bees can still sting through the leather if it is tight against the skin and not moving... if you stay busy with your hands, bee stings should be rare with these gloves.
